You found it at the wacom if you search for Vista drivers of Intuos (and not Windows 7, these are newer than 6.10). It finds the WACOM device, but no driver.Then I downloaded the latest Intuos driver in version 6.10.x, all newer drivers don't have the serial driver support integrated. (Notice: in regedit you don't enter the quotes).Now i plugged in the power cable of my Intuos board and refreshed the hardware manager. For me it was COM3.That is important for the registry hack.So I started regedit.exe opened the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and added the key "Tablet" and then added a new string "PnPTablets" and then entered the value ",COM3". Yours is very obsolete, my machine dose not even have a serial port. I think a USB tablet/stylus would make you happy, Wacom abandoned Serial connection a long time ago. I've had this tablet for years, it works great on every other computer I've had. It lights up when I use the pen, but it doesn't work as a pointing device. When running the most recent (and only) Wacom driver for my Intuos GD-0912-R wacom tablet (serial, not usb), my computer recognizes the tablet (I see it in the device list), but no matter how often I install the driver 613-5 (or even the 612-5 version), there is "no driver installed" and the tablet doesn't work.
